I was going to set you all a Hammer Horror-based topic this week, but the last few weeks may have led to a bit of exhaustion on that front. Therefore, as suggested/requested by Prince Vajda, could you turn your minds to films where the plot revolves around malevolent animals, making this week's topic:

Killer Animal Films

For the purposes of this week, these have to be land-based killer animals, whether mammal or not, vertebrate or invertebrate, so no primates or anything that predominantly lives in water or is supernatural in nature please – those are different categories for future weeks. It's still a broad topic, so lists can include canines, felines, birds, reptiles, insects and just about everything else in between.

Why not primates?

There aren't that many killer ape films. You can't class The Planet of the Ape series as killer animal films for example.

I was thinking primate would include any King Kong, Planet of the Apes, and abominable snowman/yeti/Bigfoot films, so could be a category unto itself.
