I watched both quite recently,I think they both have a nice twist on the slasher theme, especially Bloody Birthday with its killer kids, and both have excellent posters.

Ok then. Not being the greatest fan of the genre anyway, lets see what i can come up with. Got to put Halloween in there. But past that there is absolutely no order whatsoever

So
Halloween.
Halloween 2.
Scream
Scream 2
Scream 3

Erm...

Maniac Cop
Maniac Cop 2
Stagefright...
Does Psycho count?

Not as bad as 3 surely?!

One of the worst films I've ever seen irrespective of genre.

My list is based on memory. I haven't actually watched the first 3 films in a while. I watched 4 last year and it just didn't hold my attention at all.

Maybe i need to give them all another go B-Eye. I wouldn't say its a favourite of mine by any means but within the slasher subgenre. Maybe a rewatch of the Krueger films might alter my list, I've also not seen many Friday 13th films.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time with any of those - the bulk of them are terrible

Cash-ins they may very well be, but it's a lot of the stand-alone slashers that 'do it' for me over a lot of the franchise dreck
