KURT RUSSELL

I'm not entirely happy with this list because there are several films I need to rewatch on either Prime Video or, in the case of Breakdown, I am going to pick up from the sorting office tomorrow and hopefully watch this week. The list might change and, if it does, I'll put an updated one up at the end of the week.
  1. The Thing
  2. Escape from New York
  3. Big Trouble in Little China
  4. Tombstone
  5. Bone Tomahawk
  6. Guardians of the Galaxy 2
  7. Breakdown
  8. Tango & Cash
  9. Stargate
  10. Miracle

Thanks everyone for your lists of your favourite Kurt Russell films. As I said about mine, I am not sure it will stay as it is for long because I am in the process of catching up on some films I haven't seen in years, and others I haven't seen at all.

This week, the lists will be vastly different from person to person because I thought a good topic would be literary adaptations, with you listing your favourites. As such, the lists will depend on how widely read you are, and what you thought of the adaptation of the book/short story/poem. For example, some people love what Stanley Kubrick and Diane Johnson did with Stephen King's novel The Shining for the screenplay for Kubrick's film of that name, whereas other people think it's a travesty and prefer the miniseries, or even that the book had never been adapted for the screen, whether big or small.

There are no right or wrong lists and its going to be interesting to see what books/stories/poems you lovely people have read and how you rate the film adaptations.

FAVOURITE ADAPTATIONS OF LITERARY MATERIAL

Probably have mised the point Im still half asleep

Bram Stoker's Dracula

Narnia, The Lion The Witch and Wardobe, Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treder that were made into movies not the tv series.

Salem's Lot would be the original novel and T.V movie.

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein that was made by Kenneth Branagh, im not a big fan of Frankenstein movies but that adaptation was great.

Robert Loius Stevenson Jekyll and Hyde. It was made into a T.V two part seties with Michael Caine that was good but will go for the 1931 movie.
