I'm also having real trouble cutting my list down to 10 – there are so many great songs!

I thought the tough part was narrowing down what was specifically done for a film. Sadly this discounted Steppenwolf's Easy Rider soundtrack contributions.

I think my main issue is because I have very eclectic music tastes, so my long list currently includes artists including Chris Cornell, Dolly Parton, Mark Knopfler, Eminem, Isaac Hayes, being Crosby, Bobby Womack, Queen, Ray Parker Jr, and The Dickies!

Dammit, nordy, my list is even longer now!

Seriously though, top selection of music. The Lost Highway soundtrack is outstanding.

Ditto. They are two superb soundtrack albums, both boasting excellent selections of music.
