I have to admit that they aren't the first films which came to mind when I think of Nazisploitation, but they do have Nazis in them!

I was thinking more along the lines of the Wikipedia definition:
"Nazi exploitation (also Nazisploitation) is a subgenre of exploitation film and sexploitation film that involves Nazis committing sex crimes, often as camp or prison overseers during World War II."

FILMS BASED ON TV SHOWS

To prevent repetition, I chose my favourite from a film series when, like the Mission: Impossible and Star Trek series, I could have easily picked several. I bought the boxset of the first 10 Star Trek films that haven't watched them yet. I have seen the first two before and, from memory, preferred Into Darkness to The Wrath of Khan, though I'm probably in the minority with that opinion.
  1. South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut
  2. Dougal and the Blue Cat
  3. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
  4. In the Loop
  5. Serenity
  6. The Fugitive
  7. Mission: Impossible – Fallout
  8. Beavis and Butthead Do America
  9. Star Trek: Into Darkness
  10. The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse

Just missing out:
The X-Files: I Want to Believe
The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theatres
The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!
Shaun the Sheep Movie
The Simpsons Movie
State of Play

Nice to see another fan of Fallout. I thought it was a tremendous action film.

Agreed. I consider it the best of the Mission: Impossible films.

Sorry for this being a bit later than usual, but I had a last minute cinema trip this morning and no time to post this.

The topic for this week is 'BIOPICS', which I don't think we have done before, and is defined by Wikipedia as:

"a film that dramatizes the life of a non-fictional or historically-based person or people. Such films show the life of a historical person and the central character's real name is used. They differ from films "based on a true story" or "historical drama films" in that they attempt to comprehensively tell a single person's life story or at least the most historically important years of their lives."

Top 10 Biopics

Goodfellas (1990) - Henrt Hill as played by Ray Liotta
Braveheart (1995) - William Wallace as played by Mel Gibson
Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942) - George M Cohan as played by James Cagney*
The Glenn Miller Story (1954) - Glenn Miller as played by James Stewart
Seabiscuit (2003) - Seasbiscuit as played by a horse.
Glory (1989) - Colonel Robert Gould Shaw as played by Matthew Broderick
The Imitation Game (2014) - Alan Turing as played by Benedict Cumberbatch
The Spirit of St. Louis (1957) - Charles Lindbergh as played by James Stewart
The Aviator (2004) - Howard Hughes as played by Leonardo Di Caprio
The Notorious Bettie Page (2005) - Bettie Page as played by Gretchen Mol

I removed films like The Untouchables as they didn't really show the life of the person in question, more a certain period of time. I almost went with Rasputin the Mad Monk but decided that was probably fiction in all but character names.
