Thanks to everyone who contributed a list of their favourite films which were released in 1980. There was a lot of variety and they were interesting to read.

The subject for this week is a cinematic legend who has been acting in films for five decades.

AL PACINO

I'm not suggesting The Godfather films aren't better than Dick Tracy or The Devil's Advocate but if i were going to choose one to watch then i'd pick one of those over The Godfather.

That's fine because these lists are usually about favourite films rather than 'best' films (i.e. ones you would rank as those you like rather than those which are critically lauded).

My list will include the 10 films starring Al Pacino which I would most like to watch. Unlike yours, you will probably include both Godfather films!
