Good call on Venus in Fur.

Never thought about Withnail and I. Possibly because whilst they are actors they don't actually do any. Had i thought of it it would be my number one.

I nearly went for The Artist, but then realised I don't really like it that much. For some reason I love Venus in Fur. Not really my usual bag.

I didn't expect to see such a recent film on any list this week. Although I highly enjoyed it at the cinema and really want to buy it, because I've only seen it once it's not a film I would have considered for my list.

I really enjoyed it and placed it on the list because the subject matter of this weeks topic isn't one i generally seek out when i come to choose a movie to watch. Probably explains the amount of horror films on the list.

Birdman is a film i own, had it months but never bothered to watch it yet.

I completely forgot Galaxy Quest. That was good and would have made my list i expect, but i'm not changing it now. We don't want the same movies on all the lists.

The subject for this week is quite simple and I hope there will be a variety of films listed. They need to be set during the American Civil War and the narrative needs to include the conflict but they don't have to concentrate entirely on the war.
