Nice topic as it's gonna cover all types of film, interesting one.

I didn't even realise it was Tuesday, must be the Solstice.
Either that or the Rum and beer combo i've been consuming tonight.
Anyway for what it's worth this was my 80's action top ten.

Mad max 2
Lethal weapon
Die hard
Terminator
Robocop
Escape from new york
Raiders of the lost ark
Streets of fire
predator
the hidden

Yeah good call Dem. The Final Destination franchise alone could see me through this week.
Still intrigued to know what you had planned. Fingers crossed for next week.

I have made this list into 2 halves "the predictable" and "Outside the Box" Aka scenes from lesser known films or simply most wouldn't add to their lists!

As always no Particular order

1. Candice " Gym Death"- Final Destination 5.... it may not be "best" in terms of the word.. but it is a brutal death that makes me cringe time and again and that takes a lot so it deserves kudos!

2. Christian Slater's Character Death in "Mindhunters" (2004) - Frozen & snaps in half by Liquid Nitrogen trap

3. Pitchfork through the head kill "The Prowler/Rosemary's Killer"

4. Head cut in half by machine "Intruder 1989"

5. Death by Zombie bite to tits "Burial Ground" may not be "best" but it's "amusing and original" "Momma your tits smell like your death"

6. The entrail spewing scene from Fulci's "City of the Living Dead" not many die by emptying their digestive system out of their mouths!

7. Head explodes in restaurant caused by slugs & worms "slugs" 1988

8. Wheelchair kill "Friday the 13th II"

I'll add another 2 after I've thought more hard about it got a 3 hour medical appointment to attend sadly right now so will be tired later but I will return!

Some great ones already listed... this is going to take some serious thought!

Maybe this thread can provide some inspiration.

Better late than never, this is my top 10 of action films list from last week:
  • Aliens
  • Batman
  • The Terminator
  • RoboCop
  • Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior
  • A Better Tomorrow
  • Lethal Weapon
  • Die Hard
  • The Killer
  • Top Gun

I know some of them are science-fiction or comic book films, but I think they easily qualify.
