My thanks to those who contributed a list of their favourite slacker films.

This week's topic is films which began on the small screen and comprise storylines and/or characters which were first introduced in TV series.

If you so wish, you could fill your list entirely with Mission: Impossible, Batman and Star Trek films, but that would be really boring!

I just listed them in general so it would not be filled with them and have to decide which ones

That's cheating! If you only want to include one from each series, choose your favourite.

Oddly i always thought Batman was based on a comic book rather than a tv series.

I was debating about including The Untouchables but decided against it as it's based on a book as is the tv show.

Fire Walk with Me was another possibility but i see it as a continuation of Twin Peaks rather than based on it. To me the topic category means rebooted for cinema rather then anything else.
