UFO FILMS
  1. Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1989)
  2. Arrival (2017)
  3. E.T. the Extra Terrestrial (1982)
  4. Mars Attacks! (1996)
  5. The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
  6. Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977)
  7. District 9 (2009)
  8. Starman (1984)
  9. Earth vs. the Flying Saucers (1956)
  10. The War of the Worlds (1953)

Flight of the Navigator and The Blob (1958) just missed out and I didn't want to include either The Thing (1982) or The Thing from Another World (1951) because the UFO doesn't really feature.

Didn't let it stop Keir. I believe he also squeezed The Thing into Top Ten Best Car Chases too.

I've had Arrival since prior to Christmas and still haven't watched it.

What really matters is whether you are happy with the list you made. It's a personal thing and as long as the films meet the criteria and you can defend the inclusion, that's all that matters!

Thanks to everyone who contributed a list of their favourite UFO films.

This week's topic is another blast from the past, and proved to be extremely tough for everyone who took part at that time. I didn't, so this will be a first for me.

I know there will be films which those who did contribute a list at the time may have seen and could now consider for their list, or have seen more recently and they want to reappraise what they submitted all those years ago.
