I can't really add much more than I wrote What TV Have You Seen? except to say that the two shows are well linked together so I'm alternating between one and the other because storylines often begin in and continue to the other, so a ring was introduced in Buffy and then the storyline about it was finalised in Angel. Fortunately, I have two players and so can switch between them.

In The Mouth Of Madness

I'm dimensionally challenged at the moment ... so every time they say Sutter Cane ... I imagines they is saying Lovecraft. Makes a festive treat and a betterer film tee hee .... after Sally4Ever ... I needs some respite ...

Christmas Day viewing...

Santa's Slay (2005)

Saint Nick is actually Satan's son who lost a bet with an angel over a curling game, his forfeit was to stop killing people and be nice to them for 1000 years... well it's 1000 years later and the bet is finally off!

Did I mention that Santa is a pro wrestler

I can see why some people might hate this film, I found it a hoot though, silly and it knows it, irreverant dialogue, kids swearing, strippers, boobs and death by Menorah :lol

Something for everyone

It's been a couple of years since I saw it, but I also really liked Santa's Slay, finding it some sort of weird blend of Bad Santa and Christmas Evil, but one that works very well.

Watching some of the extras on the bfi m r james set, the intro & short story by ramsey cambell have terrible audio! Looks like it was shot in an enclosed garden, wanted to listed to the campbell story but couldn't concentrate.

Just going to watch the movies methinks!

That opening scene round at James Caan's house is basically a short and less bloody version of Secret Santa (2018)

Both good fun.

I noticed you said you'd never heard of Santa's Slay earlier yet you liked my gif image from it in the Advent Calendar thread.
