Tony Hancock and Sid James in a 1959 episode of 'Hancock's Half-Hour'

The episode, entitled 'The Horror Serial' was a spoof of the television series 'Quatermass and the Pit, which had concluded a mere 4 days before this episode was screened

Tony: What would you do if a Martian was under here?
Sid: I’d give him a punch up the bracket.
Tony: Has it not occurred to you that a Martian might not have a bracket to punch up?
