The Canadian Cliff Twemlow?

Personally I have/seen these of his rather varied but extremely exploitative films.
How Sleep The Brave
Lipstick & Blood
Night After Night After Night
The Million Eyes Of Sumuru
Devil Doll
Permissive
No1 Of The Secret Service
The Big Zapper
Clegg

This isn't everything but as the rights to many of these ( & far more) are in limbo, if you can find them, grab them. I highly recommend the Flipside Permissive. I nearly cried the day I heard it was coming out cough.

I know there are LS fans here.... any thoughts/reviews to add?
Will stick something up tomorrow......

At one point both Big Zapper films were on youtube, loved the first one but found the second not as entertaining and a bit dull.
Don't think i've seen any of the others.
Doh.. Actually looking back i've got night after night, a good and grimy sleazy British slasher.

NIGHT AFTER NIGHT AFTER NIGHT (1968)
I might as well start with this fruity little number. Is Donald Sumpter really the sex maniac that PC Plod is after ...?
A uniquely sleazy film to come from these isles in this period... I can only think of Twisted Nerve as anywhere near as sordid. But TW has Hayley Mills. This doesn't and is all the better for it.
It's got quite a schizoid structure as well ... moments of calm shattered by violence.
Sumpter was never cockier in his portrayal of an archetypal Jack the lad...and certainly 1 of his scenes may still cause the BBFC to loosen their collars in today's climate ... but as that is to remain a fervent dream at the moment.....
HIGHLY Recommended to all lovers of filth/British/needlessly obscure cinema.

More to come ......

Permissive

I bought this just the other week. It seems to be deleted now. I had to buy a used copy but thankfully both disc and booklet are in almost as new condition. These BFI collectors look after their discs.

It's enough to get them out of the case sometimes
My La Belle... being a prime example
Enjoy.

My problem isn't being lazy it's that i think of things to watch during the day then by evening i've completely forgotten what it was.

I might give Devil Doll a re-watch now seeing as i'm on the Shonteff thread.
