He was taking the piss over the jibes about CH. animal cruelty.

There is a Western were the horses are clearly bleeding from spur rips and one horse gets pushed to the ground and killed by a spear but Deodato was'nt the Director.

You should watch Westerns Rick especially spaghettis. Vipco released Martino's Man Called Blade on DVD and while it's not the best Spag Western around it's certainly woth a look.

I will try and hunt that down then, I am yet to dislike a vipco title, I am not against trying anything but usually westerns are not my thing, but that one sounds good.

You should start watching Italian westerns, they are not like most american one's.

I recommend you seek these out:

Django ( was banned in the uk until 1993!! )
Keoma* ( my personal fave spaghetti )
Django Kill
Run Man Run
Once Upon a Time in the West
Fistfull of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
Good the Bad and the Ugly
Fistful of Dynamite*
A Bullet for the General
Vengeance
Django Strikes Again
Four of the Apocalypse
Man Called Blade*
Navajo Joe*
A Genius, Two Parteners and a Dupe.

* cut to remove cruel horsefalls.
