Disc replacement programmes

Regardless of the label, if you know of a faulty disc which has been released and there is a replacement program by the distributor, please put the details in this thread.

For instance, if you have bought the new 4K Ultra HD releases of either Zombi Dawn of the Dead or Deep Red and one of the disc is faulty, send an email to zombi@kochmedia.com with a proof of purchase and they will send you one of the corrected discs.

There's a replacement program for Arrow's Stormy Monday and The Big Knife.

Sadly, the initial pressing of this release is missing a scene (well, part of a scene). This occurs at around 1:35:30 into the film, when Nat Danziger (Everett Sloane) is sitting on the couch talking with Charles Castle (Jack Palance) and Marion Castle (Ida Lupino). This is missing a whole speech about money and Charlie's response - it's about 66-seconds long. You can compare the scenes in our handy video below.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) has identified a manufacturing issue which may affect the presentation of the 3D Blu-ray offering of the film Revenge of the Creature, released on August 28 , 2018 as part of the Universal Classic Monsters: Complete 30-Film Collection and the Creature From the Black Lagoon Complete Legacy Collection. The issue is isolated to this particular film and does not affect any other discs in the collections. UPHE’s goal is to always deliver the best possible product to its consumers. To that end, a replacement program is being established to ensure that those who have purchased either collection have the opportunity to receive a corrected Blu-ray disc featuring the 3D version of Revenge of the Creature and 2D version of The Creature Walks Among Us, should they encounter the issue. Note that this is the US release and the faulty sets have NOT been recalled and are still being sold on Amazon etc..
