YEP! Made this mistake before! Alternative titles being the main reason for this. Secondary reasons being, not realising I owned the film in the first place

Not too many, as I actively avoid it, but ended up due to box sets being cheaper than buying the single releases I need (and/or being unavailable otherwise). A handful of films I would like to upgrade (I really need to update my Suspiria dvd to Blu Ray for example), but there are so many interesting looking films I have yet to watch, I tend to prioritise watching/buying something new.

From memory, I have two copies of Jodorowski's Fando Y Lis, two of the David Friedman sexploitation non-classic Trader Hornee, Jess Franco's Jack the Ripper, and a few TV series. Not exactly a list of my favourites!

The ones that annoy me are the ones that have an alternative title. I don't realise I've double dipped until I put the film on.

I have a film called "Asylum Erotica". It is also known as Slaughter Hotel (amongst others ) ... this is now available in this country under that title in a far more intact version ... soon my pretty .... and as a Franco fan, a different title may mean slight differences ... sighs. As long as the prints differ? I have 3 Night Of The Big Heats and they are all the same ... with the same hair at the start ... ahem.

I'm a Franco fan too! I actually accidentally bought Franco's The Demons by mistake last month. I got it confused with Ken Russel's The Devils. I'd be happy with either, so I wasn't too fussed
