Which films have you "Double Dipped" on?
 

I was looking for a film to watch and noticed a couple I "double dipped" on. Which DVD's/Blu-Ray's have you bought twice and why?

I noticed I had Enter the Dragon (which I'm currently watching), Nosferatu and Citizen Kane. I'm sure I have more though!

Few years back i bought Dead Silence on amazon, about two nights later went round to Blockbuster for their clearing sale bought it there and forgot my amazon order.

i also bought what i thought was Night of the demons remake turned out to be the original movie which i already had the original trilogy, so my dad had a good nights viewing :lol:

. The Last House on the Left 1972 (I intend to buy it a third time when Arrow release it on Blu-Ray, one of my favourites)
. Predator 1 and 2
. Alien 1, 2, 3 and 4
. Alien vs Predator 1 and 2
. All eight original Friday the 13ths (All of them I got twice due to 2 separate 8 disc boxsets. Including the boxsets I have Part IV separately on DVD so I have 3 of them. Also I own a separate DVD of Part II as well as the original VHS so have got 4 of them).
. Hatchet (only because it came with Hostel I and II which was what I really wanted that day)
. The New York Ripper (again came with 2 other films in a boxset)

My wife thinks I'm nuts but she just said she wants to buy a playstation 4 because one of her fave games has been released on it! She only got a ps3 & a load of cheap games about a month ago!

Loads if you are talking about rebuying on dvd etc to replace VHS, too many to count.

But dvd onwards i have double dipped due to a better quality image or longer versions / extras notably -

Texas chainsaw massacre - original uk dvd release then a version containing the shocking truth doc.

Night of the living dead - Two copies with different commentaries/ extras.

Dawn of the Dead - Dutch release with Argento cut then the Arrow Blu ray.

Nightbreed - original version then the directors cut.

The Shining - uk original version and Extended cut Blu ray.

Little shop of horrors - original version and Blu with alternate ending.

Carnival of souls - replaced a shitty cheap copy with the Criterion Blu.

Others -

The Devils- Got the BFI release and a bootleg cut with extra scenes added.

Spider baby - got US disc and Arrow Blu.

Deranged - had US midnight movies disc with Motel Hell then got the Arrow Blu for the inserted scenes.

Videodrome - older UK release and Blu Arrow box.

Bird with Crystal plumage - updated to the Arrow box.

Replaced various dvd's with the Hershell Gordon Lewis feast box.

Too many to count in terms of upgrading from DVD to Blu, but in terms of just double dipping on Blu rays, just Black Christmas (3 different versions!) and Terminator 2.
