'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston made her film debut in the abysmal 'ET' rip-off movie 'Mac And Me' (1988)

We watched it as part of a MST3K presentation, and Chloe was howling her head off. At the end of the show, she said to me: "Was that a genuine film?"

Therefore...I stand by my statement - is it abysmal!!

I've never seen Mac and Me.

Love the clip / Gif Stephen posted though. Actually interested in what happens next.

Does the kid actually survive that fall? How does a wheelchair bound person escape that watery fate from such a height?

Where 'Mac And Me' is concerned, it's better not too dwell on questions such as 'how does a kid in a wheelchair survive a big drop into a river'

Just accept the fact that he does survive, and move on to the next gigglesomly pitiful and inept part of the film!

I haven't seen Mac and Me either and thought the .gif was both hilarious and engaging. It's interesting to find out from Susan that he didn't die from falling that huge distance into the river and now I'm curious about whether the film is genuinely awful or hilariously bad.

I've been updating the profile of Baywatch: The Complete Season Four and noticed Michelle Williams, the Oscar-nominated actress who was in Shutter Island, My Week with Marilyn, and Manchester by the Sea, makes two appearances, one credited and one not as one of Hobie's schoolfriends/love interests.

Years before he became your grans favourite Frank Sinatra impersonator, crooner Michael Buble appeared in a non-speaking role as a sailor trapped on a submarine with an alien in the 'X-Files' series 3 episodes 'Piper Maru' and 'Apochrypha'
