![]() Supersonic Saucer (1956, SG Fergusson) More from the CFF. Another time capsule. Slightly on that Famous Five tip, some kids and ... their special friend solve some nasty crime shenanigans after a visitor from space makes their presence felt. Some fun here as said alien does resemble a sheathed willie from some angles, but its doe eyed stare does make you forgive most things awww ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It reflects the time it was made. Yet again, not even 50 mins so it does crack on a tad.

There are some cracking CFF films aren't there. I believe the set you are watching is Sci-Fi Tales. I have all the BFI dvd's except that one and The Race is On. Edit - Reminds me i must find which Blu i watched recently that had three CFF films as extras. I need to watch them. Bizarrely i think it was Creatures the World Forgot. |

![]() Kadoyng (1972, Ian Shand) The overriding joy in all of these for me are the STs, all quasi Radiophonic Workshop (and Meek in one instance) bleeps and burps ... Ahem. Alien lands on Earth, helps out some folk. Sound familar does it? ![]() Regardless, another time capsule, but I remember that wallpaper and those jumpers harumph. Yet again, certain aspects look ... peculiar now, but that is what the past represents ... something that has passed harumph ... onwards etc. ![]()

Time I watched that one again methinks .... The House That Dripped Blood Amicus caper. Home ownership. It's the thing we all aspire to, yes? Welcome then to Yewtree Cottage, plenty of history in these walls .... ![]() ![]() The usual stalwarts prop up the walls, Denholm thinks one of his characters has come to life, Peter C falls in love with an exhibit in a local attraction, C Lee hires a nanny and to round it off, a certain Doctor and Countess camp it up LF at the end. Yes, tis uneven, what Amicus flick isn't? Harumph.

![]() Dark Places (1974, Don Sharp) Robert Hardy inherits a stately, if crumbling pile. The neighbours all welcome him with open arms ![]() Or not ahem. Regardless how the film wants me to believe Chris Lee and Joan Collins are siblings ![]() Hardy likes a drink, so just imagine Keith Floyd trying to renovate an ancestral pile ![]()
