In this 3D prequel to the 2006 cult hit, pyrophobic mortician Gerald Tovar, Jr (ANDREW DIVOFF) inherits the family mortuary and accidentally exposes hundreds of uncremated bodies to toxic medical waste.

As the corpses re-animate, Gerald s inheritance-seeking younger brother, Harold (JEFFREY COMBS) unexpectedly shows up and stumbles upon Gerald trying to keep the zombie outbreak under control. Sibling rivalry gives way to madness as Harold discovers Gerald s dark secret the freshly exhumed and zombified corpse of their father.

Excuse me and all that, but did I miss something? 2006 cult hit? What was that then? I thought the cult hit Night of the Living Dead was made in 1968?

I assume it means the 2006 3D Version with Sid Haig (I think) which was apparently not very good.

I was right, it does star Sid Haig. Anyone seen it?

Ah well that ties in just perfect, because this new version is suppossed to be not very good too.

Haven't seen it but all the reports I've seen talk about shockingly bad green screen. Might have to check it out to see if it's terrible in a good way.

A 3D prequel to a 3D version of Night of the Living Dead. Count me out! Had it been 2D I might have been interested, but the extra 'dimension' is a real turnoff.
Daemonia likes this.

Agreed. I have a pathological hatred of all things 3D. It's pointless and worthless to me. Just gives me a headache and strained eyeballs. I'd rather just watch a decent film, the 3D aspect doesn't make up for poorly made films.

I hated 3D last time around and I don't like it any better this time, either.
