You probably know, but this new restoration is getting a theatrical run too.

I know, and really hope it's showing somewhere near me so I can see it on the big screen.

Yeah I read it was showing in Brum. Don't think I'll find anyone to come and watch a SILENT FILM with me though . . .

I have to confess I've not seen it yet
So I'm hoping it shows somewhere near me so I can see it for the first time on the big screen. Told my missus earlier she's gonna have to take me.

A showing in Brum? I'm up for seeing that, I'm down the road in Cov Cannot wait to see how this looks in HD, watching it should be a whole new experience. Other films I hope Eureka get round to restoring are Dreyer's VAMPYR (saw this a few halloweens ago on the big screen with live music and it was incredible!) and KWAIDAN. Very pleased they've done NOSFERATU though, its been on the cards for years! (same goes for their recent release of TABU which I must get around to seeing also).

You need to rectify this immediately, and while you're at it you need to get the Exorcist watched too!

Yeah, it's a Halloween screening at the Symphony Hall. A £50 prize for best fancy dress . . .

All I'm going to say on the matter is: I'm surprised and it's something you need to remedy ASAP, preferably with the curtains closed and as at late at night as you can manage.
