Hmmmm, I'm guessing the BFI haven't learned from other companies yet, and the cetificate is printed on the steelbook.

It really is a joke now. More Zavvi exclusives include releases of Thor & Captain America (with different artwork) and Anchorman.

I agree, it's becoming silly and flooding the market with steelbooks only serves to make them less exclusive (obviously ). I'm actually a fan of steelbooks when they're done right (Eureka being the best example imo) but some of these zavvi editions seem a bit rushed and slapdash.

At this rate, people will start collecting amarays

Very disappointed that the BFI would do this. Thank god there's a B&N 50% Off Criterion sale in less than 2 weeks.

Yeah, they kind of give the air of being 'above' that kind of stuff... plus the actual design is a bit naff. As said earlier, EUREKA are kings of the classy steelbook . . .

We rule A release to treasure. I'm surprised they put so much bonus content on the limited edition third disc . . .

Pre-ordered 7 Samurai, hopefully the regular release will have better artwork so I can cancel. I do like the inside though!

Am I the only one who thinks Seven Samurai is a teensy bit over-rated?
