It is pretty dreadful. But it has a sort of sleazy low rent charm that makes it worth a watch. I already have the Troma DVD and not in a great hurry to rush out and replace it.

Already bought the US release from Twilight Time, but I'll buy this too, for that great poster art. Unfortunately no extras.

I was hoping for a slipbox edition of Re-Animator to go with From Beyond, but I'm down to clown! Very happy to see they're including the integral cut.

Excellent! Sad about the lack of extras, but cracking cover to make up for it.

Does the integral version feature all the extra scenes from the R rated version, as well as those from the unrated one?

It's basically everything cut together into one really long cut of the film. Will give it a try but bearing in mind pacing is everything with Re-animator i'm still skeptical over how good a 105 minute cut of the film will actually be. Hopefully i'll be proved wrong. Glad I waited though as I much prefer the cover art of the UK release (though would have been nice to have the origional poster art)

Not sure if this has been mentioned, 101films are releasing FUTUREWORLD and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA ('89 version with Robert Englund) in April. THE ISLAND OF Dr. MOREAU ('77) is coming later on in the year along with CELLAR DWELLER and PUMPKINHEAD 2: BLOODWINGS.

Pete, keirarts, Hawkmonger and 1 others like this.
