Synopsis: Walter Hill directs this -thriller in which Ryan O'Neal plays the Driver, an ice-cool getaway ace whose skills are for hire. Bruce Dern is the detective who becomes obsessed with catching him. The more O'Neal leaves tantalising clues at the crime scenes, the more Dern becomes a man possessed with catching his prey. Not anymore - it's been Paramount for a few years, since the release of season two and the Gold set.

Like Stephen says though, Amazon are claiming that it DOES have the film, so all is good. I've cancelled my order for the US set and will be getting the UK edition - the gulf in prices is two vast.

I've just ordered the US release of this for £8 as Odeon releases are so expensive and are rarely discounted. Had been holding out in case Arrow decided to release the Pete Walker catalogue.

Be aware all the US blu-rays of Pete Walkers films are region locked.

Although I love the film, I have the German 'Armee der Finsternis: Ultimate Edition' Blu-ray set so will probably pass on that.

Yeah, same here. And the lack of a title on the front of the steelbook is a sure-fire way to get me not to buy.
