"JOHN CARPENTER EXCLUSIVE!

We are extremely grateful to the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts and archivist Dino Everett for allowing us access to John Carpenter’s early student film ‘Captain Voyeur’ which will appear on our forthcoming Blu-ray release, ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13.

On discovering the film Everett said, 'At first it seemed like Captain Voyeur was going to be a class exercise with no title cards to identify it as Carpenter’s work but, eventually, a hand written title card came up."

“About a third of the way though the film, there was this hand written, ‘Written and Directed by John Carpenter. You couldn’t ask for a better representation of a first student film. Captain Voyeur has many of the themes as Carpenter’s later work including masked faces, obsession and even comedic set pieces."

“In my head I hoped it would be a magical tie to Halloween,” said Everett. “He’s not a killer but he’s a voyeur. In a sense, it shows what Michael Myers was in the beginning of Halloween. The two films make a natural line.”

Just randomly come across the UK release of Stephen King's It - I thought it'd be coming out here as there is a German and American one coming out.

It sounds like they might be like the exclusive blu-ray's they had a few years back with interchangeable covers. I only got 12 Monkeys.

Was just about to post aren't most of these all ready out just with diffenent artwork etc, but it seems the only UK version of them, so will order that

Gremlins 2 and Them have never had a UK blu release. And its a first for the longer cut of The Shining. Not sure about the rest.
