I saw this morning when I was looking at the Optimum press pages. I don't mind admitting that I was gutted when I read it. However, if it gives them more time to make this the definitive release of Don't Look Now, they could take a few months more.

Nek .. you have become desensitised by all this modern rubbish! DLN is a classic of horror. Similar things were said about The Exorcist when it was re-released, but don't forget years ago, these were cutting edge, and to us "older" viewers, they still hold that something special.

Scary as hell when I first saw it years and years ago and packed with some seriously creepy atmosphere!

I'd say for him to give it another chance. A second viewing certainly adds to the movie.

ha ha
I have not!
I love 70s and 80s horror more then modern horror. Im 25 so not that young.
Suspiria is one of me all time favs.
DLN is just rubbish, yes it was well made etc but it was blindly boring.
Exorcist had something to be scared of...a young girl being possessed by a demon. While some midget in a red cape is not scary at all.

It's one of the most suspenseful movies of all time. Watching for the first time and following the parent's desperate plight to find their daughter, to then be presented with one of the most bizarre and WTF?! endings I can ever recall. Powerful stuff; but as you say: each to their own.
