The Asphyx is locked ? Because It's listed as region free on blu-ray.com and it has been on my wish list ever since.

I'm not sure why, but I thought it was locked. I've just checked it in my (Region B) PS3 and it plays fine.

It's probably because a lot of the cult critish horror titles are often locked. This and Vampire lovers are actually quite rare exmples of region free.

I think the only Redemption BDs that are locked are The Blood Beast Terror (due to Odeon releasing it over here) and Hatchet for the Honeymoon... although I'm not 100% on that one.

I thought Hatchet was the only free Bava title from Redemption?
I'm certain Black Sunday, Lisa and the Devil and Baron Blood where locked due to Arrow. Unless Arrow are releasing hatchet also...

The Redemption BD's of Hatchet for the Honeymoon, Black Sunday and Lisa and the Devil are all region locked. Not sure about Baron Blood as never owned it but I'd assume the same. It does bode well for a slap-up Arrow release of Hatchet for the Honeymoon soon

I hope Arrow will release HFTH - incidentally my favourite Bava film.

I didn't mention Baron Blood, Black Sunday, or Lisa and the Devil as they are Kino and not Redemption titles

I just lumped them in the same pile as Hatchet is from Kino via Redemption but yeah I see what you mean


Hatchet is the only one I held onto which I'll get rid off if Arrow release it.
