They're both certainly worth a watch (particularly Slidings).

BFI are impressing me more and more as the months go on. Their slate of releases towards the back end of 2013 were fantastic. I hear they have some Herzog in the pipeline for 2014 too.

Do you know if that will be part of the Redemption series?

I was wondering the same thing when I posted it earlier. It's only listed as 'Kino' on Blu-ray.com and Filmaf, although this may change when the full details are announced.

Considering Redemption have already released Die Screaming, Marianne, Schizo, The Comeback and The House of Whipcord, I think it would make sense to have another Pete Walker film in the same series.

Feels more 'redemption' than slidings and trans europe which feel like odd choices the more I think about them....

We're anxiously awaiting the delivery of 4 new HD masters from Italy next week! We already teased 3 of the titles we'll be upgrading to Blu-ray on here a few months back. Any guesses on the 4th title? Here's a hint: it's an Italian horror movie currently out on DVD from Blue Underground...
Interesting... The Church, Opera, or Stagefright would be nice!

A Blade In The Dark too maybe?

Heard rumours that Opera is with Synapse, and Stagefright is definitely coming from someone, so highly likely it be BU

It could be quite a few titles... apparently the BU Stagefright DVD is out of print, so it may not be that as BU may have lost the rights. Like you say, it is supposed to be coming from someone though.

Whatever the title is, the more Italian horror on Blu the better!

I've no idea which of the numerous titles it could be, but I completely agree with that sentiment!
