That's what I like about the US BD of The Evil Dead, as it contains both the 1.33:1 and 1.85:1 versions of the film. Due to the cropping, I always watch the full frame one as the widescreen one has been 'modified to fit your TV'.

As the master is from an Italian lab, we'd be lucky to get a decent print not slathered in DNR let alone a choice of aspect ratios!

Looking forward to both. I've never seen Hallucination Strip but I find the premise of mixing surrealism with a poliziotteschi quite appealing.
