Yeah, Mr W sent me a text saying saying they were talking about it. Be great if they could manage to attend. Fingers crossed!

One of the guys from the festival (it might have been Gil) was there as well, but it was mostly 'Mr W' and Nick talking about it in the University and at the restaurant.

Gil is the one with the white beard. So you'll know if it was him.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was him. During one of the Q&A sessions, Calum pointed him out and told everyone about the event, encouraging them to go.

Should be interesting this year, especially with a member of the BBFC attending.

Yeah, that will be almost mandatory for anyone with a passing interest in film censorship and horror films. I'm going for two nights this year (Friday and Saturday) and will book my hotel rooms tomorrow.

That will give us more time to talk and capture up – I plan on being in the Days Inn as well, so there's no rush to travel back to a hotel in the evening.

Subkultur Entertainment will publish a second Grindhouse Collection, consisting of a total of 10 Blu-ray/DVD combos, starting off with Death Force and Machete Maidens unleashed. This first set will also – as always – include a box to collect all the future releases.
The edition is limited to 1000, and according to the label half of it was gone on the first day of pre-order.

Btw, price is about 30 euros. But considering you get 2 movies in HD, a nice box and a couple of extras, I think the price is justified.

Copied from facebook:

Technische Daten DEATH FORCE

Bildformat: 1.85:1 anamorph (BD: 1.85:1 1080p)
Ton: Deutsch und Englisch Mono
Untertitel: Deutsch
Laufzeit: 105 Minuten DVD / 110 Minuten BD

Technische Daten MACHETE MAIDENS UNLEASHED!

Bildformat: 1.78:1 anamorph (BD: 1.78:1 1080p)
Ton: Englisch 2.0
Untertitel: Deutsch
Laufzeit: 84 Minuten DVD (BD: 87 Minuten)

Extras:

Grindhouse Trailershow
Filipino Exploitation Trailer Reel
Bildergalerie
Trailer
Behind the Scenes Galerie
Booklet
Sammelschuber für 10 Teufelswerke
Limitiert auf 1000 Exemplare
