I'm one of those people who knows it by reputation and received the special edition release from Arrow yesterday.

In that case, I want a recording of you watching it streamed live to my laptop.

You're not getting it! However, I will tell you what I think!

Interspersed with still 'reactionary' photos?

Looking forward to hearing what you think.

I'm not sure if I can do photos, but I will use as many adjectives as are appropriate!

I have never seen this either, but I pre-ordered it. Majority of what I buy are blind buys, because it's really the only way for me to see new things besides the cinema. I haven't watched movies from TV much (or at all) since DVDs came to be, because I don't want movies to be butchered. At least in Finland we suffer from bad PQ/AQ, incorrect aspect ratio, and most of all by making new cuts to the film, by going to commercial mid-scene and then returning to the movie from the next scene. It's terrible.

Nowdays there's also of course Netflix, but streaming quality inconsistent and it's still far from Blu-ray quality. Plus you never know how long something you want to watch is available.

Physical media is just so much more awesome than anything else. It's been a very rare occasion that I buy something I absolutely despise.

There is also some (albeit televised) animal violence as I recall, so I'm not sure how that would fare.
I'm a big fan of both and the second IS nastier. The effects work is more gruesome, certainly, not going into detail.

And the animal bit involves a close up seal dissection which is nastier on screen than it sounds on page (or on screen). It may be a dead animal, but it's the casual way they watch footage of a seal essentially having its head pulled apart. Made me feel a bit ill truth be told.

But I love the film!

Also: Anyone know what's happened to the Amazon release of this, as that's where I pre-ordered it from but the price has disappeared from the page as if they're not going to sell it.

[Edit]Answered own question. Will be dispatched soon, but they're not fulfilling new orders as they've exhausted their supply.

Friends, remind me. Does Code Red still ship to the UK? I know it was on and off for a while...

As far as I'm aware, no. He's a crank. I won't buy from him and his is the only label I actively avoid. Luckily for me there's not been anything for a while that I'd want anyway but if there was I'd buy it from Diabolik.

Thanks as always, Paul. I don't have the funds to keep up with constant buying these days so tend to not be so active so as to avoid temptation. But once in a while something comes along that I'm intrigued by!

It often means I'm asking latest shipping info from you good folk!
