wonder if the AWE blu of Enter The Void contains both cuts of the film.
UK never got the blu and the German release had both cuts but forced subs.
so had to by the US version which only contained the DC.

Anyone know special features for the Criterion The Lady Vanishes? Does it include the Alfred Hitchcock Presents remake?

Also, does anyone know of a UK BD? I don't have multi-region, but if Criterion start banging out a bunch of Hitch, then I might have to distract the missus whilst I take the plunge!

Extras are:

* High-definition digital restoration
* Audio commentary by film historian Bruce Eder
* Crook’s Tour, a 1941 feature-length adventure film starring Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne as Charters and Caldicott, their beloved characters from The Lady Vanishes
* Excerpts from François Truffaut’s legendary 1962 audio interview with director Alfred Hitchcock
* Mystery Train, a video essay about Hitchcock and The Lady Vanishes by Hitchcock scholar Leonard Leff
* Stills gallery of behind-the-scenes photos and promotional art
* PLUS: A booklet featuring essays by critic Geoffrey O’Brien and Hitchcock scholar Charles Barr

Which, as far as I am aware, are the same as on the Criterion dvd which is now OOP.

I didn't know this was redone for his tv show. Interesting! Which series of the show was that?

Sounds like a good package! The episode is "Into Thin Air" from series one, switches the location to a Parisian hotel, but for all intents and purposes is the same thing! It's also one of the episodes featuring Hitchcock's daughter.

The extra features on The Lady Vanishes BD sound very good and I wonder if any of them will be in HD or whether they'll just be ported straight over from the DVD. It doesn't really matter as they are in SD, but 1080p would be ideal.
