This looks like a nice set for not a lot of money.

Default The Blood Trilogy

Here's an early look at SWV's "The Blood Trilogy" - Cinema Head Cheese: Movie Review: The Blood Trilogy (1963-1965, Blu-Ray)

Very nice set, especially for the price.

Think I might have to go for The Blood Trilogy at some point. I already own the Tartan releases (although I believe Blood Feast is cut anyway) but this looks like a decent upgrade and I'd love to watch with the commentaries.

What's the cheapest people have seen it for? Seems to come in at £12.51 on PlanetAxel with the £1.79 shipping/handling charge and £1.84 handling/routing.

Default Original FRIGHT NIGHT on BD :D

Sorry if this has already been posted but the ORIGINAL 1985 FRIGHT NIGHT is being released in the US by speciality label Twilight Time on November 8th. They only release 3000 copies of each film, i.e. limited editions, and I think FRIGHT NIGHT is being sold at $30. Who's gonna buy??

Blu-ray: Twilight Time to Release Original Fright Night - ShockTillYouDrop.com

Oh and you can only order through Screen Archives Entertainment.

They are a perfectly legitimate company for those who haven't heard of them and have previously released the 1954 hollywood biblical epic "THE EGYPTIAN" which has had very good reviews regarding AV...although the HD remaster was done by Fox and not Twilight movies themselves, who just release rare films that have already been remastered in HD (of which there must be a lot just sitting in film vaults!)

I'm surprised it's having such a limited release by such a small label, but I'm definitely interested in ordering a copy.

Per Michael at R!S!P!, the Aussie bd of VAMPIRE LOVERS is really disappointing.

"1080i/25 (1.85) (feature runtime: 87m35s; MPEG-4 AVC encoding)*
Dolby digital 192kbps (feature & audio commentary)
Extras all in NTSC 480i
All region
BD25: Total disc size = 12.73Gb; feature file size = 11.8Gb

* the sleeve artwork lists 1080p/24, but unfortunately it's not."

He initially said the audio was awful, but after spending more time watching and listening, he says the dialogue appears to be ok but the music and fx sound warbly. A true disappointment.
