Peter Cushing vs Daniel Radcliffe. Cushing wins every time. The mere fact of the presence of Cushing makes it better.
Pete likes this.

Although I did try and watch At the Earth's Core the other night and fell fast asleep within 25 mins. I'm blaming that more on super-tiredness though because it's genuinely a fun film once you get past the men in rubber dodo suits.

You should be banned just for mentioning Radcliffe in the same sentence as him!

Lovely cover.

Interesting film, too. I may pick this up at some point.

except cushing would be too busy trying to claw his way out of the god-awful film he'd appeared in. He's on record as saying blood beast terror was a 'mistake'

Its true theres some awful movies these days, but not even michael bays output is as mind numbingly dreadful as blood-beast terror. Hell the nightmare on elm street is a better movie!

We are pleased to announce that our upcoming Blu-ray release of A BULLET FOR THE GENERAL will now be a 2-DISC SPECIAL EDITION!

This definitive Blu-ray includes beautiful new High Definition transfers of both the 115 Min. U.S. Version (containing the U.S. English dub track) and the 118 Min. International Version (containing the Italian language soundtrack with English subtitles, as well as a different English dub track).

VCI on FB the other day about their BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE:

I can tell you that we are using the same transfer master source that BU used for their release. Our digital restoration team should be able to make it look even better...we are attempting to get Argento on the project but nothing has been secured as yet. Audio will definately be PCM.

lol we must be watching a different film. The Blood Beast Terror is excellent entertainment!? Even if it was Keir or someone in place of Cushing the film would still work. Cushing just adds a touch of class. The giant moth is a decent 'monster' and the rural setting has Hammer written all over it. Cushing's been involved with far worse things, even if he didn't admit it, namely Subotsky's The Uncanny!
