Why did I not know that Jeff Lieberman's Remote Control was available on blu-ray Limited to 1,000. Can't see how I can work it into this months budget. Hopefully it will still be available in a couple of weeks.

What really confuses me, is that the label has announced that the Blu-ray won't have the same extras as the DVD - a trailer and a slideshow only.
Does this mean, that I have to use the DVD if I want to listen to the audiocommentary by Mick Garris? WTF? Anyone heard any different?

I just asked the guys responsible. Only the DVD has the audio commentary. Although I understand they have their reasons for doing so, I think this is bullshit.

That does seem a bit silly. What was their reason? To be honest. I'm a little disappointed with the extras overall from what I saw.

What I think:

They don't want any special extras like the audiocommentary on a possible future single BD edition (so more people buy the combo edition) . And as they are using the same discs for the single disc edition and the combo edition, the audiocommentary is only included on the dvd.

I admitt: I'm slightly pissed.

Well, Koch have come good after they said that the Army Of Darkness Ultimate Edition artwork wasn't final. This is MUCH better!
