Why not? If I'm buying the film and there's a version with the one cut, or a version with both cuts, I'll buy the one with both. By that reasoning, why bother including the theatrical version of any film that has a longer cut on it?

That's true. I watched my US dvd of the r-rateed version because it was anamorphic.

They did. They also stated their releases would look even better than the previous BU release.

Seems I was right about the Saul Bass logo on Enter The Dragon...

Glad to hear that. Especially after the rumours that Warner were replacing logos this year.

And this obviously begs the question that if VCI can release it in its correct ratio, then why couldn't Arrow? It kind of makes a nonsense of their rather feeble excuses...

Doesn't all depend on which master/Digibeta the company has been supplied with and whether another one is available? It seems Arrow only had the 2.00:1 master available to them whereas VCI have been far more fortunate.

I think Arrow decided that using the DOP approved transfer would be a good selling point or something

The French bd also had the same aspect ratio as the Arrow bd.
Btw the BU bd iseems to be missing a line of dialogue that's in the Arrow bd.

Seems there may be 2 hd masters?
