Speaking of Code Red, are there any news regarding the nightmare in a damaged brain release?

Yeah I hear they're releasing Re-animator and using the same master as the German release.

Raro have announced they will be releasing Man from Deep River and The Perfume of the Lady in Black on BD.

I'm glad we're seeing a HD upgrade of Perfume, it's one of my favourite gialli.

Fantastic! I'd held off buying the latter on DVD as I was hoping they'd do an upgrade.

Yeah, I upgraded to the (reasonably priced) US version from the Italian, and now it's hitting BD.

Gialli on BD is always exciting.

BRIDE OF RE-ANIMATOR.

I have a rare uncut US dvd release. It will be interesting to see what print is used for the BD as most releases people have seen is the R-rated cut. Basically, the PQ on the additional footage has always been rather poor as the materials were not stored correctly and when it came to re-insert them for PIONEERS DVD the quality was noticeably poorer. If better quality materials have been found then that is extremely good news for fans.

Some exciting news from Germany. TLEFilms will be working on a new Suspiria transfer! Having seen what they have done with Re-Animator I can't be happier! Suspiria is one of my all time favorite or maybe the favorite horror movies of all time. I'll be getting both the German and the Synapse releases without thinking twice.

Here's the article in German - '84 Entertainment lässt "Suspiria" neu in HD restaurieren - BLU-RAY - DVD-Forum.at

I'm awfully sorry Synapse, I just can't wait.

This will most likely prompt me to finally order something from Germany, but I guess it'll be from some special website at a rather high price

Will there be any problems with subs or audio?

Bet £10 the German one comes in two separate and extremely ltd cases for 'investment' purposes. I can almost guarantee one will be a hardbox, the other a mediabook.
