Default Upcoming Non-UK Blu-ray Releases

Here's an idea.....

For those of us who aren't fortunate enough to own a multi region Blu-Ray player, how about confirming discs from the U.S of A that are region free?
I can't think of a more trustworthy bunch of guys...and gals......

Confirmed:

BLADE RUNNER 4 DISC COLLECTOR'S ED. U.S.

THE TERMINATOR U.S.

CHILDREN OF THE CORN U.S.
NEW YORK RIPPER U.S.
DEAD AND BURIED U.S.
THE LIVING DEAD AT THE MANCHESTER MORGUE U.S.

Awaiting arrival to confirm.....

CHILD'S PLAY U.S. (Though Movietyme have it listed as R0)
THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (NISPEL) U.S.

(Far better artwork than the UK edition...)

Blu-ray.com says that both Child's play and Chainsaw are region free

Good idea Reaper! I'm region B locked too.

All these I can confirm are region free US discs:

Groundhog Day
The Shining (144 minute cut)
Eyes Wide Shut
A Clockwork Orange
2001: A Space Odyssey
Full Metal Jacket
Dr. Strangelove
Watchmen Director's Cut
The Godfather Trilogy (features original mono audio)
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior
Requiem For A Dream (be careful to pick up US disc, not older Canadian disc which is locked and has much worse PQ and no extras... US disc is good good good)
Creepshow
Big Trouble In Little China
The Bird With The Crystal Plumage
Dawn Of The Dead (not as good as the Arrow disc in terms of both PQ and extras - stick with the Arrow!)
Day Of The Dead (again, wait for the Arrow release on this one - it's going to be better)
Land Of The Dead
King Kong (2005)
The Omega Man

Usually Warners keep their discs unlocked, and Fox usually lock theirs (but not always - see Big Trouble In Little China).

Just in regard to all things Chainsaw:

The Dark Sky US disc of TCM (1974) was initially region free, then the distributor locked it on a later pressing. Some sites may still label the US disc region free, but it ain't.

Luckily, Second Sight have released (what appears to be) an exact port of the US disc. And it is a thing of beauty!

That Second Sight disc is pretty definitive anyway.

I've just confirmed these titles as region free......

The Austin Powers collection
Revolver (shorter U.S. version)
Dogma
The Pink Panther (Peter Sellers version)
