I hope you're getting your coat so you can shoot down HMV and pick it up?

I went to a test screening for The Big Lebowski.

So what you see on screen, its all down to me.

The Dude was a skate punk before i commented he should be a stoner.

Thanks, after I asked about it I noticed it online. Looks like it has some great extras. It is now on my Xmas wish list. I live in the US so even if it was region coded it would not have been a problem. I am always Envious of all the nice Blu rays that you all get that I can't play.

I'm a big fan of Jodorowsky, and Santa Sangre is one of my all-time favourite films.

The Severin BD is indeed a great release.

Cool

Borrowed HATCHET after good press on here, WOW, great backwoods horror with a good dose of humor and lashings of gore. Yet another gem pointed in my direction by this place, great baddie too. It's going cheap in HMV as well, on the look out for the sequel.

Living Dead at Manchester Morgue
I liked it, but didn’t quite live up to expectations. Seemed to take quite a while to get going, and even there were only a few sequences of quality zombie action. I did enjoy the odd quirks scattered throughout, like the unnoticed streaker running through Manchester! Fun seeing an Italian view of The North – this film is really the Accent Show! Cockney, Irish, Geordie... don’t remember hearing a single Manc though! Visually I think the locations did a lot of the heavy lifting, not much visual panache in evidence here. Glad the characters never made it to Windermere, spent the last week there – would be gutted if I’d missed out on any location spotting...

Ratline
I did not like this movie at all. Weak story and bad acting. Sometimes a weak story and/or bad acting don't bother me when the atmosphere is good or it has an original idea, but this movie just doesn't work for me. And the gore (there is plenty of it), doesn't save it.
