Had all references to the earlier films been eliminated then I'd agree, it wouldn't be too bad. But as a sequel to the other films it is terrible, aesthetically, artistically and thematically.

I thought Mother of Tears was kind of entertaining in a train wreck sort of way, but it's still pretty awful when compared to Inferno and Suspiria

American Ninja 2

Videodrome

American Ninja 2 - The Confrontation - Part 1 / 7 - YouTube

Sorry i could not find a clip on its own but if you skip to 11.50 i noticed that when they walk out of the room one of them is not the proper actor just found that odd. He needed a stunt double because the turn he does was so dangerous

The "Hairspray" musical remake thing. The kids love it and to be honest it's not too shabby. Little does Mrs MTDS know of my plan to slowly introduce the MTDS boy and the MTDS girl to John Waters on the back of this.

Had a few hours spare today so I thought I'd have a Hannibal Lector movie marathon. My intention was to start with Red Dragon and finish with Hannibal, that was until I realised I don't actually own Hannibal
Silence of the Lambs is still the best of them all, the ending with the night vision goggles still keeps me on the edge of my seat 20 years after first seeing it, an absolute classic.
Followed these with Blair Witch 2:Book of Shadows, yeah its not great, but its not as bad as everyone makes out and I enjoyed seeing it on the big screen when it came out.
Watching Escape From LA for the first time now on ITV4

The kids are used to it after I forgot to take off my Child Catcher costume when I picked them up from school the other week. It didn't help that "August Underground's Mordum" feel out of my pocket as I was talking to the teacher.
