Yeah one guy did the first third up to the "party" (straight up horror), 2nd guy did the party itself (comedy horror) then the third guy finished it off (horror thriller)

The commentary is really interesting as the two 'other' directors talk about the section their colleague directed, switching around during the film.

I'm also a fan, but haven't seen it in ages. The Signal Blu-ray Review | Film 365.

Devil Girl From Mars (David Macdonald, 1954) Well i'm as true as my word......
Still great to see after all this time, like Invasion with mair whisky, this nips along at a fair pace still, with only a rather draggy romantic subplot featuring the obligatory septic (think Dana Andrews in NOTDemon with less charm) and the only decent totty har-umph slowing down the 3rd act, not as weird as The Night Caller but she'll aye be welcome in ma but and ben (? pm me for translation )

might see if this Signal is on here as well (Lovefilm that is....)

Enjoyed your review of The Signal Nos.

Pretty spot on i would say. I rewatched it again last night as Kyle reminded me of it in an earlier post. Thats the beauty of this forum. If you can't decide what to watch or your minds a blank, then reading the posts flood your head with ideas.

I can say probably 100% i would not have picked it from browsing my collection.

Vampire at Midnight

Fun late 80's vampire thriller which puts a policeman (Jason Williams = Flesh Gordon) hot on the trail of a "vampire killer".
"...it played like an episode of Hill Street Blues with a dash of The Night Stalker thrown in." (Mondo Digital)

There's some thrills and chills but also plenty of nudity and blood to keep things interesting.

A definite bonus is the overall weird feel this one has and Gustav Vintas as the baddie.

Fans of the 80's should definitely see this as there's a lot to enjoy.

I've had The Signal on my "to watch" pile for some time and the recent discussion here prompted me to watch it tonight. I'm glad I did as I thought it was excellent.

I'm going to do a post on The Signal in the Film Stills Thread tomorrow.

I've done the grabs, but can't be bothered uploading them at the moment.

Its too late.

House of Whipcord (1974)

Great flick.

I have been a horror fan for ages but have only recently come across the films of Pete Walker and I am really enjoying what I have seen so far.
