Not a bad little film Nos. Apart from a bit of dodgy CGI at the end, an enjoyable way to spend 81 mins.

Thanks – I'll order one as a blind buy.

Gah – it's £12 at HMV.com.

It's certainly not worth £12!

I saw it on Film4 last year. Not very impressive, but affable enough to waste time.

I never intended to pay 12 quid for it – wongfeihung62 said he bought it for £3 which is why I was interested in the first place!

I was just concerned in case you succumbed to temptation anyway!

It may not have been wongfeihung62 – I can't remember who it was – but I have bought enough already this month and would never play £12 for something which people describe as 'okay' or 'a decent watch', unless I had already seen it and really liked it!

I think that's one of HMV's rare instore-only offers, much like the Tale of Two Sisters bluray I picked up last month for the same price. I seem to recall seeing Primal next to it on the shelf actually

I'm going out tomorrow so may go to HMV and see what is reasonably priced – I have a £20 voucher from Pure Points to spend anyway.

Watched The Hangover 2 with some 'friends' the other day. Considering I didn't like the first one the prospect of watching what's ostensibly a direct remake of didn't fill me with much hope. And it was worse than I could have imagined. Lazy, loud, boorish, chauvinistic, unbelievable, homophobic, racist, unfunny horses**t. The characters are so utterly unlikeable and devoid of any admirable qualities that you just can't care what happens to them. I spent the duration of the film praying for liver failure; theirs or mine, I didn't really care. I also thought retracting Mel Gibson's cameo on the grounds of it being innappropriate in a film which ends on a singalong with a convicted rapist and notorious misogynist very baffling indeed.

One of those "not for me really" films
