Watched Stuart Gordon's 'Stuck' last night ... OK but felt like it was about half an hour too long. Would've made a good Masters of Horror episode if it was edited down.

Has anybody seen the French horror thriller VIDOCQ?
I saw it again last night and it's my fave French film of all.
It has its gory moments, throatcuttings, men burned alive et al.
Filmed on hi-def digital, the same euipment they used for the STAR WARS prequels, but VIDOCQ was made first and a damn sight better than those films.
VIDOCQ IS BRILLIANT!

What's the BU version of Torso like Reaps? I've heard it is just a disappointing port of the old ABUS disc... Or is it worth triple dipping for?!

I've got a fair few BU titles myself. Nowhere near all of them though...

Watched my copy (Shock, Australian) of Motel Hell the other night. Never seen that movie before & had been dying to for ages. I absolutely loved it!
It's offbeat, slightly comedic tone really made the film & it's two central characters seem all the more demented & surreal.
The Chainsaw/pigmask fight sealed the deal too. Great little film!
8/10

Picked up the 3 disc Platinum Media Demons box set. I love both films and am really interested to see what the Lamberto Bava/Dario Argento interviews on disc 3 are like.
