You don't like Return of the Living Dead, surely that's heresy?

Yeah I probably need to revisit it. Only seen it once - didn't find it funny at all, and the leaden direction sucked all the energy out of every scene. But maybe I was in a bad mood when I watched it or something . . .

I'm not that keen to be honest.

Tonights viewings:

Come Out and Play - Remake of Who Can Kill A Child, this was disappointing. It was almost a frame by frame remake and the child actors were not as menacing as the originals. It was quite stale too.

I Didnt Come Here To Die - a low budget flick akin to the Evil Dead. This movie has a lot in common with ED but its not a similar story. Group of young people go to some woods to make it into a campsite. There is tension between the members of the group and then people start to die. It was a fun flick for what its worth. With the talent and money they had, it became quite a quirky fun flick. Will it become a cult hit like ED, I think not but its a very good effort and I look forward to more from the director.

Return of the Living Dead is highly overrated... not a particularly bad film, but definitely not as good as people say.

Greetings.
