Over the years I've come to like it better than the Romero version, particularly since the "library music" is such a poor replacement for the Goblins score.

I've just been watching "Absurd" on the MYA disc: "The Scariest Movie Ever Made" imho...which MIGHT have something to do with babysitter Emily bearing a striking ressemblence to the babysitter I had as a brat.

Had a Pete Walker double bill last night with Frightmare and The House of Whipcord. Great stuff.

That Hellraiser pic is really, really small!

It would have made a good competition.

I agree - these are both excellent, particularly Frightmare - one of my all time faves

FRIGHTMARE-one of the best Brit shockers ever made.

I was chuffed to find Sergio Martino's 'Fists of Steel' on VHS at a charity shop earlier .... so chuffed that I started watching it this afternoon and promptly dropped off!! Nothing to do with the film though, more to do with the sleeping habits of a 2 year old! How can a post-apocalyptic film with John Saxon and George Eastman be anything less than great?
