I loved it for the first act. Stephen McHattie was a riveting watch, but ultimately it was just a few talking heads for ninety minutes and i may as well have been listening to a (very good) radio play.

I'm a sucker for single location drama, and I loved the bizarre quirks and unpredictable escalation of events. I remember the director on the commetary saying he wanted to make it the first part of a trilogy, though his outline for the other two sounded terrible . . .

I watched the Total Recall remake the other night. Absolute cack. One big long tedious chase scene and digital at that. Is there anything more pointless than watching a cartoon car chase? Wracking my brain I would have to say the last truly great movie I saw would be The Mist. Having said that, I can't get enough of Frankenfish!

Knowing (2009) Not a big fan of Nic Cage but I quite liked this. Although the ending was a bit too....biblical!

Arachnid. -Enjoyably stupid monster movie.
The Man Who Haunted Himself. - Decent mystery type thriller with Roger Moore actually acting. Quite enjoyed this one.
This morning. - Riding The Bullet - Stephen King adaption. Load of poo chucked together by Mick Garrison. Wanted to like it but it was just crap. Also stumped as to how this seems to have a lot if good reviews and claims made that it is the best King adaptation ever.

I think single location stuff can be excellent if the script is good and pontypools script is excellent.

I still remember watching SAPPHIRE & STEEL. Zero budget and single location over 6 episodes and worked brilliantly, especially the one at the train station.
