And what do you prefer BioZombie? The theatrical cut or the director's cut? I'm still hoping that maybe we'll see a blu-ray release of MGM's excellent region 3 hong kong dvd of the director's cut.Now that woulod be something!

I prefer the directors cut, it has my favourite ending out of the two and I dont think any of the stuff that was cut was because it was bad it was just for running time. I'd love a HD release of the dir cut but I belive on the commentary Sam Raimi says that the quality of the extra footage will always be bad for some reason I forget.

Yeah the commentary was done for the Anchor Bay director's cut dvd and the extra footage was worse quality than the rest of the film but the picture quality of the region 3 DC is excellent throughout. The region 3 dvd even includes the very short scene of evil ash ripping sheila's top off in the graveyard which isnt in the Anchor Bay director's cut

Obviously, the best thing about HOWLING 2 was I think during/after the credits, and it showed the gorgeous Sybil Danning repeatedly stripping off showing her sexy big tits!
Talking about her, it would be great if someone released the excellent WIP movie CHAINED HEAT, but UNCUT.

In preparation for the upcoming 6th. installment, I opened my "Saw" marathon with a double feature of parts 1 and 2. The sequel is actually improving greatly on repeated viewings as an essential part of the "puzzle" and it will be undoubtedly get rated much better in "the 00's horror" retrospective...

I'll probably watch the first two tonight with the kids.

Just watched "Hardware " and although it does start out quite slowly the second half is great. I'd forgotten most of it since I watched it last on VHS many years ago. Didn't remember it being so dark and depressing.
