My filmmaking friend said pretty much the same thing, it's supposed to be an incompetent borefest

Surprised you even bothered, it looked like one of the dullest big releases to come along in ages.

Either way, watched my Blus of Lethal Weapon 1 and 2 which are definitely not dull and are wonderful action films from my childhood.

PRETTY IN PINK. Class warfare filtered through a soundtrack of 80s British electro pop music. James Spader out slimes the rest of the cast by a mile. Watch out for a CRASS stencil on the record shop window, a Subhumans sticker at the service desk and the first Redd Kross lp in the record rack. I really like this film and have done so since it was first released, there is something nice about it that I find very comforting.

A film so good, John Hughes & Howard Deutch remade it a year later.

SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL, I love that too. And it's got Eric Stoltz in it, an actor I really like.

Little deaths

I had never heard of it till a friend on fb pm me about it.

The French have a saying 'la petite mort', it means 'the little death', a slang term for orgasm

3 short films about half hour long each , each one is to do with sexual perversion
Recommended if never seen it a British gem..

I also enjoyed this quite a bit, and would recommend.

Killer Joe

First saw it at the cinema and found it pretty strong for a mainstream release....second time round on home BD viewing I discovered more of the films humour.
