Yay. Two of us liked The Wolfman.

May is excellent MTDS.

Have you seen Love Object? I'm sure that would be right up your street as well.

Three of us, don't understand why it got such a bad rep when it came out, for me it was better than the Frankenstein and Dracula remakes of the universal classics

Morgiana, by the director of mega-bleak 'The Cremator', is pretty good. I'm not even being dead pan.

Give it a few years, Demi. I'm sure that it will be looked back on as a classic after a gestation period.

Love Object's really good.

Also, Living Doll is another one I'd recommend. Whilst different subject matter, for some reason one always conjures up thoughts of the other for me. A future double-bill methinks...

Not a film, but film related.

Went to Brighton today to catch up with my nephew who has just moved there.
Amazingly unusual and brilliant day.
Having a coffee we was talking about surreal films n stuff. He remembered there was a free Jan Svankmeyer exhibition on so we went and had a look.
Iam a big Svankmeyer fan so Had a small case of Stendal syndrome viewing his surreal artifacts. Totally mind bending stuff. And totally out of the blue, really made my day.

A few of the props i saw, really big fan of his twisted stop motion animations.
Then went and chilled out with some of his mates and got a little wasted, and finally went and saw 3 pretty entertaining bands at a local pub.
Really enjoyable day, if only all days were as stimulating.

I've avoided this film on purpose. I've heard a lot of bad things about it.
