Excision (2012).

Oh God, how bad was this?. An unfunny riff on cruel high school movies such as Heathers, Jawbreaker and Mean Girls. The producers obviously decided the film had no real impact, so threw in some hopefully cutting edge dreamlike moments of horror which were about as shocking as a Christmas reindeer jumper. I've seen more twisted body horror the last time i pulled a bogey from my nose and realized it wasn't completely crusty.

Worst of all the films star AnnaLynne McCord is clearly a pretty girl with make up so woeful she reminded me of Ugly Betty who had put on her make up whilst pissed.

According to Total Film, Excision is brave, transgressive, disgusting and thrilling. So i might be wrong, but i find Eggheads a more disturbing, mind bending experience.

Not recommended at all.

Agree really enjoyed it, not hard to see way it considered one of the greatest films of the 20th century . Funny, sad, thrilling and exciting it runs through all emotions. Not hard to see how it has influenced a lot of movies and directors the time just flew by watching it. Only ever seen ran and kagemusha, plan to rectify that and get more of the directors work. A true classic of cinema and now in my top five films of all time. 10/10

Next up deep red

Decided not to watch deep red, next I tre volti Della paura and city of living dead if time
